Redundancy, layer by layer
Power
When grid power fails, the load is carried without interruption through parallel three-phase online UPS units to the generators. Power to every rack passes through staged breakers and is metered per rack.
- N+1 generator redundancy
- N+2 redundant parallel online UPS
- Per-rack smart meters and real-time consumption reports
- Four-stage breaker protection
- Power monitoring over Modbus
Cooling
Precision cooling units run with redundancy, so others take over if one unit goes offline. Hall temperature and humidity are monitored continuously.
- N+2 redundant cooling
- Hot / cold aisle layout
- Cold aisle containment (CAC)
- Continuous temperature and humidity tracking
Physical security
Building and hall access is controlled by card readers. Visits are by appointment, with identity checks and an escort.
- Card-based access control
- 24/7 CCTV recording
- 24/7 security staff
- Alarm systems
- Escorted visits by appointment
Fire detection and suppression
The halls use an FM200 gas system that extinguishes fires without damaging electronic equipment.
- FM200 gas suppression
- Early detection
- Equipment-safe extinguishing
Network
Our backbone is backed by fiber from three carriers. Juniper MX routers run the core and Cisco switches the distribution layer, with each customer isolated in its own VLAN.
- AS56582, RIPE-registered address space
- Fiber from 3 carriers
- Juniper MX core, Cisco distribution
- Per-customer VLAN
- NetFlow-based traffic monitoring
Monitoring and support
Network, power and customer services are monitored 24/7. When a service stops, we call and email you, and our on-site team responds.
- 24/7 NOC
- Per-service monitoring (HTTP, SMTP, SQL, ping)
- Phone and email alerts
- On-site remote hands
Redundant backbone
Fiber links from three carriers meet in the Juniper core and are delivered to customers over dedicated VLANs.
